The Farmhouse   Top

Cortijo La Gabrielina is a large farmhouse of two floors built in the nineteenth century, it maintains the peculiar characteristics of the purest popular Extremaduran rural architecture, the "Cortijo" style.

The reforms carried out have modernised our facilities while at the same time we have endeavoured to preserve all the traditional flavour, respecting the features and using original materials and furnishings.

Our full address is:

Cortijo La Gabrielina enjoys a privileged location surrounded by large extensions of unaltered nature. The Area has got a great ecological value, you can discover "la dehesa", a typical Spanish landscape characterised by its sparse woods of ilex trees with a great wild flora and fauna richness. La Gabrielina is a migratory birds crossing zone. We organise environmental activities including fishing in the neighbouring lakes Los Galgos and Canchales.
